After a great sail across the Thames estuary dodging wind farms we arrived at the delightfully dilapidated port of Ramsgate where we took advantage of Wetherspoons curry night.
The persistent easterly winds were not great for out next planned port of Eastbourne which was also at 55NM, a little further than we really wanted to sail. So we made a last minute decision to hop across the channel to Boulogne where we anchored outside the harbour for some (unsuccessful) fishing and to watch some foiling kite surfers.
Enjoying authentic croissants with our coffee this morning.
